December 2016 Pseudo-Tour

The poster from the very first Tuesday Funk reading, on April 1st, 2008.  That reading was organized by Hallie Palladino, Reinhardt Suarez, and myself.  Next week, the 100th Tuesday Funk reading will take place, hosted by Andrew Huff and Eden Robbins.  We will be joined by William Shunn, and so the readers this month will be all of the hosts of Tuesday Funk over the years.

Facebook sucks for small businesses.

So I’ve been worried for a long time that I have been posting too much about my writing on Facebook. The business page has very little reach, because content is no longer shared organically. The profile page is better for personal interactions than promotion, and it’s dodgy using it for purposes that could be read as promotional; sometimes people will (understandably, I think) feel taken for granted.Read the rest
