Subjects to be discussed will include (but not be limited to): second person storytelling, the adventure of self-publishing, and the process of writing.

The fantastic Red Eye in Deadwood Saginaw will be the setting for a Hungry Rats themed literary evening, Saturday November 13th, 7-9 PM, 205 N. Hamilton.
There will be a lot of excitement at this one, because local authors Gina Myers, Jeremy Benson, and JodiAnn Stevenson will also be sharing their work, and the Improvements will be performing music they wrote specifically for Hungry Rats.

I will be reading and signing copies of Hungry Rats at Detroit’s Cafe Con Leche, this upcoming Friday, November 12th, from 6 – 7 PM. Cross the bridge, head up or down river, or cruise in on down Woodward and Michigan!

Our Chicago Launch Event took place at Filter Cafe in Wicker Park, and then we moved to Adam’s place for the Afterparty. There were babies and grownups, men and women, and great coffee followed by beer and margaritas. About 30 people came to the launch and another 15-20 came to the Afterparty. I sold fifteen copies of Hungry Rats, raising over $75 for the Food Bank of Eastern Michigan, got to read the beginning of the first chapter, and had a fun evening with a lot of friends.
