IN THE BEGINNING…

Like so many things in my life, I didn’t think much about Sufjan Stevens when I first heard about him, and would’ve missed the phenomenon if it hadn’t bit me in the ass. – YESTERDAY – Yesterday I was all but useless. I did manage to print out Lisa’s poetry project and some other work, but I didn’t get around to reading it. I did some work on the website and did a little shopping, but I think a general lack of sleep had caught up to me.

Today is the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord…

I went to morning Mass before heading off to work, but due to a stomachache that’s resulted from who-knows-what, I was halfway distracted through the whole sequence.

The Feast of the Baptism is the gateway marking the end of Christmas and the beginning of “ordinary time.”
