Can't say that I have…
Never been in one, but as a marine stationed in Quantico, VA in 1968, I did undergo riot control training and was on standby for emergency duty in Washington DC for most of the summer. Fortunately, all remained quiet while I was there.

I started looking in Detroit until I realized Jefferson (ad on side of building in image) in Detroit is east-west – then moved to Chicago. Finally got to Haymarket after trying stockyard and steelyard riot searches. There's been a lot going on in Chicago over the years.
